HOW TO FIND/CONTACT US
THE LAVENDER SHOP - HAHNDORF
LYNDOCH LAVENDER WILDLIFE
Whether it's wandering through our lavender, viewing the scenic sights or savouring the delights presented by the Lavender Kitchen, you are sure to hear and/or see many of the birds or animals which frequent our Farm.
The birdlife includes those shown to the right which are: (from top left) Grey Shrike Thrush, Yellow Rumped Thornbill, Crimson Rosella, New Holland Honeyeater, White Backed Magpie, Kookaburra, Australian Black Shouldered Kite, Black Faced Cuckoo Shrike, Adelaide Rosella, Galah, Silvereye, and Willy Wagtail.
And not pictured but one bird which frequently flutters close to the shop is the Superb Blue Wren with all of his women - beautiful. Watch the skies for the Wedgetail Eagles who nest nearby or the Nankeen Kestrels who hover above searching for food.
There are many others birds and animals for you to see and enjoy, and during the warmer weather, our animals include Blue tongue lizards, Bearded Dragons (pictured) and wallabies.
The Bearded dragon is the 2nd largest dragon in the world, and we feel privileged that they choose to enjoy our surrounds and lavender with us. They can often be seen lounging in the lavender or on the many rocks on our property.
We hope that all visitors enjoy the entire experience of a visit at our Farm and respect that it is our wildlifes home as well.
There is one more animal many of you may see lounging around. While Maggie (pictured) has unfortunately passed away - a new puppy is currently being trained to be part of the welcoming staff at the Farm. Our newest addition is called Daisy - so please do not be scared if she barks - she's a learner.
