ALLANSON vineyards were established about 35 years ago and consist of plantings of Shiraz, Grenache and Riesling varieties. They are managed and worked by the same person who makes and manages the wine. Pruned by hand the philosophy of the business is to move consistently toward a product that is produced completely by hand. Minimal use of machinery and an emphasis on the attention to detail which this methodology will afford the winemaker. It is hoped that the wines produced in this way will reflect the unique climate of each years vintage and harness the qualities that have made traditionally made wines famous around the globe.
